7 MAY 2026
Negotiation Forum is the flagship event of Performance Strategies, now part of ROI Group.
Negotiation is one of the most central practices in every area of business, but also one of the most intricate: it requires relational skills, the ability to manage emotions, and a deep understanding of the factors that can make it difficult to steer a negotiation, especially amid uncertainty and change.
The event is a unique learning opportunity: a full day dedicated to advanced negotiation strategies with Daniel Shapiro, founder and director of Harvard’s International Negotiation Program, one of the most authoritative academic programs in the world for the study and teaching of negotiation applied to complex contexts.
During the Negotiation Forum we will learn how to structure, control, and conclude complex negotiations, turning objections into levers to build lasting business relationships across different work domains: from strategic meetings to commercial negotiations, from one-on-one conversations to managing teams and partners.
We will also analyze the dynamics of the negotiation process to guide outcomes toward higher-value solutions for all parties involved.
Real case studies, practical simulations and new models to acquire a solid, practical and repeatable method designed to effectively handle any high-stakes professional interaction.
DANIEL SHAPIRO
A global authority in negotiation and conflict resolution, he founded and directs Harvard’s International Negotiation Program, one of the most accredited negotiation programs in the world.
He has advised leaders worldwide, from heads of state to executives of Fortune 500 companies, and has trained negotiators specializing in high-complexity situations such as kidnappings, conflicts, and hostage negotiations.
Named by Harvard among the university’s 15 top professors, he has led numerous successful conflict resolution initiatives in the Middle East, Europe, and East Asia, and served for three years as chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on Conflict Resolution.
Recipient of an Early Career Award from the American Psychological Association for his contributions to the psychology of peace, he developed a conflict management program that has reached over one million people in more than 30 countries.
Author of the bestseller Negotiating the Nonnegotiable, translated into over 20 languages, he has been described by The New York Times as “one of the most innovative minds in the world on the subject of conflict.”
His method, which combines academic rigor and practical experimentation and grounds its theories in real-world contexts such as workshops, simulations, and international cases, is used in the most complex settings on the planet.
